Revd. Onacimus Sayaham has carefully converted hundreds of Yamaha styles so they closely resemble the sound on the original Yamaha keyboard. You will find many of these style collections on the appropriate keyboard pages: PSR-740, PSR-2000, PSR-2100, PSR-3000, PSR-S900, PSR-S910, PSR-S950, PSR-S970, Tyros4 and Tyros5.

(Dec 22, 2022) - I have converted some Entertainer Pack Styles for PSR-SX900. Here I translated Pack SchlagerKit to SX900 SchlagerKit by remapping Drum notes. Also, I used 80sPopKit and DubstepKit for some styles. I replaced many pack voices to related Panel Voices. I added R3 Voices for OTS. Some of these styles can be used for Christmas Songs. These are also used in GENOS and CVP-809.

(12/23/22) - I have updated all styles by making many corrections. While Remapping Drums, I missed many notes. Some of the Pack Voices are not properly replaced. I fixed them. I made changes in OTS. Also I added one more Style. Vocal version of 'RomantikAmour'. Here I added Phrase2 by transferring Phrase1 from 'YoungBallad' of SX900 Entertainer Style. I suffixed the style with [VV]. So replace the whole set.

(August 19, 2022) I am still using PSR-S970 because it is more user friendly than the SX series. Last week, I was able to go through the PSR-SX900 of my friend. I started to convert TYROS5, CVP-709 additional and PSR-S970 Edited Audio Styles, which have the same configuration. In the T5 and C7 styles, I replaced SA2 voices. All the styles have 3 Right Hand voices (R1, R2, & R3) in OTS. In addition sounds of DSP Effects (Multi Insertion Effects) of these styles are playing perfectly without any problem. WHile this is not recommended for SX700 owners, GENOS and CVP-809 owners can also use these styles.

For Ballad and Dance styles, [A] represents converted Audio Styles of TYROS5, [C] represent additional CVP-709 styles including some converted Audio Styles, [P] represents additional styles not in T5 including some converted Audio Styles. In this convertion there is no problem about Mega Choir voices. But in T5 and C7 SA2 voices should be replaced in OTS and Styles tracks. In Movie&Show some Organ based styles of T5 have unknown Organ voices (ChoralHymn, EtherealVoices, Toccata). I changed these to the new voices (With Prg. No 020 GrandJeu, OrganPleno, OrganTuti, etc). In Entertainer there are some unique PSR-S970 styles (ChartFox, Evergreen, PartyRock, StandardPop, SwissCharts).

Sept 21 Update -- I have updated the whole set of TYROS5 Plus Styles for PSR-SX900 by adding some different styles from PSR-SX700. These styles have same voice configuration of PSR-S970. Most of the styles' Drum Voices are 'RealDrums' and 'RealBrushes'. These are prominently use in T5 and PSR-S970 Styles. I Suffixed these styles with [X]. I also updated many T5 styles, particularly Audio Styles. I edited DSP effects, voice changes and volume levels in many styles. I forgot to note the edited styles. I made changes in all categories. So, the entire set of new and updated styles are provided in the table below. I also added two more folder, DJ Styles and Ethnic Styles from PSR-S970.

Sept 27 Update -- I have further updated many T5+ Styles. Particularly in Converted AudioStyles. I put the actual drum notes in the available Drumkits of TYROS5 according to the same styles given in GENOS, CVP-809 and PSR-SX900. I did drums Remapping in RealDrums, RealBruushes, AcousticKit, RockKit and other Drumkits. I kept the Styles that I did the Rhythm as my own as suffixed with #. In Dance Section, I edited 'PercussiveTrance[P]' of PSRS970 Audio Style by adding percussion sounds along with the Rhythm track as including LoopElements (just like the sound in the AudioLoop of the same style in PSR-S970) by increasing the PitchCorase of two different Snares by using Drum Setup of the Style Creator. Also in 'LightBallad[C]' of Ballad Section, there is no Rhythm Part in the original style. I added Rhythm to all sections. I included this style suffixed with #. Also I did more editions in Style Tracks and OTS in some more styles. Some of our friends noted that, in the previous updated T5 + Styles, all sections except 'DJ Styles' and 'Ethnic' are not able to download. So I am replacing all existing T5+ Styles with this Final Updated T5+ Styles shown in the table below.

(August 22) I have converted TYROS4, additional Styles of CVP-609 and PSR-S950 (Dance Styles), which have the same configuration. In T4 and C6 styles, I replaced SA2 voices. Here also the styles have 3 Right Hand voices (R1, R2, R3) in OTS. Sounds of DSP Effects (Multi Insertion Effects) of each style are playing perfectly without any problem. T4 and C6 Choir and Vocal voices are perfect in Style tracks and OTS. I have also added some converted PSR-S950 AudioStyles. I identify them with a suffix [A]. T4 conversions now complete.

(August 23) I have started to convert TYROS3 Plus Styles for the PSR-SX900. These styles also support Multi Insertion Effects in Style tracks and 3 Right Hand Voices in OTS. Here, I included all Tyros3 Styles, CVP-509 additional Styles, and PSR-S910 additional Styles and some low models Styles (PSR-S710, PSR-S650). I have replaced SA2 voices in OTS. In Entertainer, many T3 styles are different than C5 and S910 styles, so I included both.

(August 25) I have completed TYROS2 Plus Styles for PSR-SX900. Here, I included all TYROS2 Preset Styles and additional CVP-409 Styles. Here also OTS have 3 Right Hand Voices. Here, I revoiced many tracks and replaced many voices in OTS. Because many new voices are introduced in T2 than T1, but in next models (CVP-409, TYROS3, till now) some voices parameters are changed. So there are misappropriation of voices in Style tracks and OTS. I have prepared an XL chart to illustrate. In OTS I changed the voices. But for Style Tracks, I used Style Assembly of Style Creator. For multi voices in same track of a particular section (Main Variations, Intros, Endings, etc) I used certain softwares from Utility section of PSR Tutorial. Just compare these 2 PopRock and a Swing&Jazz style of TYROS2 original preset (non edited) with the converted versions.

(**) (Sept 19 Update) I missed some styles while converting T2+ and T5+. Now I included them and also updated some styles. The new and updates are in the table zip files. If you downloaded these earlier, the updates are in this file.

(August 28) For this conversion, I include all TYROS1 Styles, CVP-309 additional and different styles, also additional new styles of PSR-S900 and PSR-S700 having same voice setup of T1. This convertion was a challenge because T1 styles have various Drumkits that are NOT in later models (Live!StyleStandard+Perc, Live!StyleFunk+Perc, Live!Style Brush+Perc and more). I revoiced wherever necessary. Here also the OTS in these styles have 3 Right Hand Voices. (Sept 10) I have tried to convert GENOS Styles for use with the SX900. Here, I selected the styles that are not in the PSR-SX900, additional styles from the CVP-809 (suffixed with [C]) and V2 Superior Styles additionally given for GENOS (suffixed with [V2]). For this convertion, I replaced many voices and Drumkits not in the SX900. For New Drumkits I did many Drum Remappings. DSP Effects are not working for style tracks. I have applied DSP Effects through Mixer Settings. Only 2 effects could be applied only in the 7th and 8th part of Insertion Effects. I applied effects for Guitars and other voices to the best of my taste. I also did voice balancing wherever necessary. For these conversions, I categorised styles according to TYROS and previous PSR Models. I also changed icons to some styles. In Dance styles only a few are added because most of the GENOS Dance styles are included in SX900 and there are no new Dance styles in CVP-809. InSwing&Jazz Styles I remaped "JazzBrushExpandeKit" to "JazzBrushKitComp" of SX900. In this convertion (GN +), all T5 and C8 Audio Styles came alive with new Drumkits. In Latin and Ballroom styles I did Drums Remapping. AfroCubanKit and BrazilianKit are not in SX900. I rearranged the drums in PopLatinKit2 of SX900.

Sept 29 Update -- Originally I did GENOS + style conversions in a hurry mode in order to give back the SX900 Keyboard to my friend. But it is still with me. I notice that most of the GENOS, CVP-809 and V.2 Superior Styles use VintageOpenKit, VintageMutedKit, or JazzStickKit. These are not in the PSR-SX900. I revoiced to PopDrumKit and RockDrumKit and remaped drum notes. JazzBrushExpandeKit is also not available in SX900 so I revoiced to JazzBrushKitComp and remaped many drum notes. Even the parameter of RockDrumKit in GN is [127-008-18] but in SX900 it is [127-000-018]. PopDrumKit in GN is [127-008-074] but in SX it is [127-000-074]. JazzBrushKitComp in GN [127-008-076], but in SX it is [127-000-076]. PopPercKit in GN is [126-008-046] but in SX it is [126-000-046]. There are some more new Drums, So I revoiced all Rhythm Tracks and did some adjustments by Drum Edit function of Style Creator. With these and some other changes, I have updated all GENOS Plus Styles. Also in LightBallad[C] of Ballad Section, I added Drums and and added this style suffixed with #. So all of these updated are now in the table below.

(Sept 15) I have made a collection of Piano Styles for the use of PSR-SX900 in three levels. Each has 70 Styles. First, I selected all CVP-309 Pianist Styles and added PSR-9000 and CVP-210 Pianist Styles. I also included all CVP-210 PianoCombo Styles and some latest PianoCombo Styles. Here, I put 9K and C2 Pianist Styles as basic and added C3 Pianist Styles. All together, there are 70 Styles. The Pianist Styles end with ".pst" extension and PianoCombo styles end with ".pcs" extension. 2b1af7f3a8
